Recently while researching new ways of integrating applications with Microsoft Teams, I found a post within PRTG’s blog site which then directed me to the knowledge base with a plethora of info regarding integration and configuration.

If you are not sure what is this thing called Microsoft Teams, well you may have been under your rock way too long!

As of March 2017, Microsoft took the stance and decided to build a direct competitor to an older, mature collaboration tool called Slack. At that time, Slack was in the enterprise for quite sometime with a huge user base. While both tools share some of the same feature sets, Microsoft is really making a case with the integration options for familiar tools.
